She draws inspiration from the bird's swift adaptability its strategic wisdom, ceaseless vigilance, and unflappable grace. She identifies owl with its role as the Goddess Lakshmi's mount and messenger – signifying fortune matched with purposeful action.
With an MBA in Marketing and a Post-graduate in Digital Marketing & Strategy from IIM Indore, Deepika brings 17 years of seasoned experience in not only all aspects of marketing and communications, but also operations, stakeholder management, and partnership engagement, spanning the full spectrum of jewelry manufacturing processes. Advertising for De Beers' Forevermark Diamond Jewelry collection sparked her interest in gemstones, which began to blend with her longstanding love for astrology. Early in her career, she was recognized in the ECCO International Communications Network's (European) Global News as "A young and talented writer of Pressman Advertising and Marketing Limited".
Working for several jewelry manufacturer-exporters in SEEPZ-SEZ, Deepika mastered the arts of managing client relationships; gemstone procurement, new product development; seamless integration of jewelry design, pricing, production, quality control & shipment; and sales analysis. She handled both retail and wholesale clients, including top jewelry names from the USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia and Europe, with an order book exceeding 150 million USD and totaling over 50,000 jewelry pieces.
As Brand Custodian of India Business Group – Chamber of Commerce, Deepika took the initiative to conceptualize and execute 70+ speaker-networking events for CXOs from various domains, thought leaders from Fortune 500 companies, consulates, diplomats and HNIs, alongside the President. This led her to discover her entrepreneurial instinct. Subsequently, she served as Brand Custodian at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, a division of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council, sponsored by the India Ministry of Commerce & Industry, playing a key role in its establishment, planning the marketing budget, executing the brand's image-enhancing strategies, and spearheading the roadmap for successful launch of Jewelry Making Services' Common Facilitation Centre (CFC).
Deepika also has a long-standing professional astrology practice (see https://www.manageyourdestiny.com/) and consulting on gemstone recommendations. This people-centric approach gave her the confidence to create AUWL Assembly – bringing together her combined experience in Jewelry, Advertising and Astrology.
