Deepika Tandon – Showrunner, Astrologer, Storyteller, and Founder

The owl has long fascinated and resonated with Deepika – known to friends as "AUWL". This bird isn't just a symbol but a personal emblem. She draws inspiration from the bird's swift adaptability its strategic wisdom, ceaseless vigilance, and unflappable grace. She identifies owl with its role as the Goddess Lakshmi's mount and messenger – signifying fortune matched with purposeful action.

With an MBA in Marketing and a Post-graduate in Digital Marketing & Strategy from IIM Indore, Deepika brings 17 years of seasoned experience in not only all aspects of marketing and communications, but also operations, stakeholder management, and partnership engagement, spanning the full spectrum of jewelry manufacturing processes. Advertising for De Beers' Forevermark Diamond Jewelry collection sparked her interest in gemstones, which began to blend with her longstanding love for astrology. Early in her career, she was recognized in the ECCO International Communications Network's (European) Global News as "A young and talented writer of Pressman Advertising and Marketing Limited".

Working for several jewelry manufacturer-exporters in SEEPZ-SEZ, Deepika mastered the arts of managing client relationships; gemstone procurement, new product development; seamless integration of jewelry design, pricing, production, quality control & shipment; and sales analysis. She handled both retail and wholesale clients, including top jewelry names from the USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia and Europe, with an order book exceeding 150 million USD and totaling over 50,000 jewelry pieces.

As Brand Custodian of India Business Group – Chamber of Commerce, Deepika took the initiative to conceptualize and execute 70+ speaker-networking events for CXOs from various domains, thought leaders from Fortune 500 companies, consulates, diplomats and HNIs, alongside the President. This led her to discover her entrepreneurial instinct. Subsequently, she served as Brand Custodian at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, a division of The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), sponsored by the India Ministry of Commerce & Industry, playing a key role in its establishment, planning the marketing budget, executing the brand's image-enhancing strategies, and spearheading the roadmap for successful launch of Jewelry Making Services' Common Facilitation Centre (CFC). The centre was inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.

Deepika also has a long-standing professional astrology practice (see https://www.manageyourdestiny.com/) and consulting on gemstone recommendations. This people-centric approach gave her the confidence to create AUWL Assembly – bringing together her combined experience in Jewelry, Advertising and Astrology.

A seeker and ideator, she is both self-critical and enthusiastic. She is curious about the Universe. When she's not selecting gemstones or overseeing innovative jewelry collection, you'll find her observing the starry sky, searching for inspiration in the vast cosmos.

Jayesh Panchal – Manufacturing Wizard, Taskmaster, and Consulting Jewelry Specialist

An accomplished engineer with over 28 years of hands-on experience, Jayesh is nothing short of a jewelry-making maestro. From start to finish, he’s overseen every aspect of planning, production, and operations in the jewelry industry. His intuitive sense for spotting opportunities and making quick, smart decisions stems from his sharp understanding of how the jewelry world has evolved. Not only does he have a talent for optimizing factories and streamlining operations, but he’s also a wizard at using his expertise in jewelry design at the CAD stage to catch and fix manufacturing errors before they even happen.

Previously Jayesh headed the Technical R&D department at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, a division of The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council. A people-centric design thinker, he brings to AUWL Assembly his extensive experience that includes working with several jewelry exporting units and researching international markets and trends. He’s a familiar face at major jewelry exhibitions worldwide, always keeping an eye on cutting-edge technologies and machinery.

Sushil J. T. – Trouble-Shooter, Number Ninja, Director

In his 33 years of experience at a power distribution company in the island city of Mumbai, where he rose to Chief Engineer, Sushil J. T. took on various leadership roles in operations and maintenance, training and industrial engineering, commercial and consumer departments, and project planning. Further, as a consultant with an IT Solution Provider company, he steered and led to advancements in the electric supply process automation and customer e-service development team.

Now at AUWL Assembly, Sushil channels his diverse experience into the jewelry industry, guiding us to accomplish both long-term strategies and daily tasks. He plays a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. A high-spirited tinkerer and our administration maestro, he's always brimming with inventive ideas and insights that shape our day-to-day functioning. His inquisitiveness fuels invaluable insights, helping us find the perfect course or resource for any operational need.
